10 Homemade Coffee Recipes to Elevate Your Morning Routine

These ten recipes will show you how to elevate your routine with delicious and easy coffee recipes.

1. Cinnamon Spiced Latte

  1. Start by brewing 100ml of a strong coffee (we recommend using Venetian Voyage or Anatolian Elixir) or pulling a double shot of espresso.
  2. Add 150-200ml of steamed milk.
  3. Add a pinch of ground cinnamon with a teaspoon of brown sugar and steam for 5 seconds.
  4. Alternatively, warm milk over medium heat until combined.
  5. Top with a light dusting of cinnamon.

2. Caramel Nutmeg Coffee

If you love a sweet start to the day, this one’s for you.

  1. Brew your favourite coffee. Either 100ml of a strong coffee or a double shot of espresso. Our Anatolian Elixir works perfectly with caramel flavours.
  2. Then stir in 2 tablespoons of caramel syrup and a dash of ground nutmeg while its hot.
  3. Add 150-200ml of steamed milk.
  4. For home made caramel syrup combine: 200g sugar, 120ml water, 120ml cream, 1 tsp vanilla extract
  5. Finish with a swirl of whipped cream and drizzle with caramel sauce for a café-inspired treat.

3. Iced Honey Almond Latte

Perfect for warm mornings, this refreshing drink combines cold coffee with a touch of natural sweetness.

  1. Brew your coffee and let it cool. Either 100ml of a strong coffee or a double shot of espresso. Our Abyssinian Embrace would be the perfect match!
  2. In a glass filled with ice, mix the coffee with a tablespoon of honey and top with 150ml of almond milk.
  3. Stir well and garnish with almond crumbs.

4. Coconut Mocha

  2. While its hot add a splash of vanilla extract and a pinch of ground cardamom.
  3. Add 50ml of milk and 50ml of cream for the extra creaminess.

6. Pumpkin Spice Coffee

You don’t need to wait for autumn to enjoy this classic.

  1. Blend 150ml of brewed coffee with a tablespoon of pumpkin puree, a dash each of cinnamon and nutmeg, and a teaspoon of brown sugar.
  2. Top with 50 ml steamed milk.
  3. Alternatively, add a double shot of espresso and 200ml of steamed milk.

7. Lavender Americano

  1. Prepare a shot of espresso. Try our Levantine Lullaby for that extra kick of lavender.
  2. Steep dried lavender in hot water for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Then strain and mix the infused water with a shot of espresso.
  4. Add a touch of honey for a floral morning pick-me-up.

8. Mint Mocha

  1. Prepare 150ml of brewed coffee or a double shot of espresso.
  2. Combine with a tablespoon of cocoa powder and a drop of peppermint extract.
  3. Add 50ml of warm milk or 200ml of steamed milk if serving with an espresso.
  4. Sweeten to taste and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings for a festive flavour reminiscent of holiday chocolates.

9. Gingerbread Latte

  1. Brew 150ml of brewed coffee or a double shot of espresso.
  2. Mix brewed coffee with a splash of gingerbread syrup (for a homemade gingerbread syrup mix of molasses, ginger, and cinnamon with water over medium heat).
  3. Add 50ml of warm milk or 200ml of steamed milk if serving with an espresso.
  4. Serve with a sprinkle of nutmeg.
